Definition Boutique, owned by local entrepreneur Hatice Rosato, carries a unique range of items from dresses and designer denim to handbags and jewelry. Located in downtown Bethesda, DC area locals rely on Definition Boutique
for the latest European fashion trends, everyday denim, unique dresses, and classic accessories for their wardrobe.
Our racks are filled with summer, evening, and business dresses, some retro inspired. Our shelves are
adorned with scarves, handbags, hats and a variety of jewelery. We carry a unique selection of quality linens
including pants, skirts, and dresses.
We believe in supporting small independent designers and small companies that are sustainable and have living
wage policies for their workers. We only carry clothing made from high quality fabrics, with nice fits, and at
moderate price points. Our staff is laid-back and helpful in finding clothing that is the right fit for you.
Most items are manufactured in Turkey for the EU. We also carry other European labels. This Fall we will begin
carrying a California brand "Stop Staring," a designer inspired by the 40s and 50s look. You can catch the latest
celebrities sporting her dresses. We plan to carry several more American brands in the coming months.
Our denim is one-of-a-kind--we carry unique brands such as Massimo Dutti, Dolce and Gabbana, Fornarina, Iceberg, Tom Tailor, Lui-Jo, and Sandro. Beginning in the Fall we will be selling a highly established European watch brand, Balmain Swiss Watches. Balmain watches have exquisite style and are not sold elsewhere in the USA.
